Inspired by Kitty Horrorshow’s breakout indie horror game of the same name, this fanzine seeks to recreate the tone and storytelling of the game through an exploration of typography. Printed on risograph.

Chinese Takeout, 2020
A meditation on my experiences growing up mixed race in America, using found and scavenged materials from takeout food packaging.
Altered Book/History, 2020
An altered book sculpture made from an American art history textbook. In the entire book, there were only two depictions of black Americans in art, a gross oversight of an entire population and culture. As a counter to this whitewashing of art and culture, the entire book was submerged into black ink, soaking into and recoloring the pages. Two holes were then bored into the book, revealing the faces of the two instances of black representation present, now made the forefront of the narrative by being the literal focal point of the sculpture.
Italian Long Stitch Binding Study, 2021
A model book studying the form and technique of the Italian long stitch binding method. After being bound, the book has been used and decorated as a scrapbook.
Psyche Memoriam, 2019
A dream journal, in the memory of dreams, both of the past and the future. All images were inspired by dreams I remember from my childhood. They were created using found footage and printed with an acetone transfer method, creating a dreamlike, ghostly haze.
FLASHBULB, 2019
Inspired by research into the phenomenon of flashbulb memories- vivid, detailed memories of consequential and emotionally arousing events. While flashbulb memories are often assumed to be an accurate recollection of the events, they have instead been shown to decay in a manner similar to our other memories. Instead, they are only differentiated by our confidence in their accuracy. Using the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers (one of the more recent and universal flashbulb memory events) as a framing device, FLASHBULB seeks to explore the fallibility and amorphous nature of our clearest and most trusted memories.
Mom’s Dumplings, 2019
Made as a quick exploration of the perfect binding method, this zine is an exercise of experimental typography using my mother’s pork dumpling recipe.
Take a Walk: A Field Guide to New Perspectives, 2019
A pocket book to encourage artists, designers, and any sort of creative person to take healthy breaks and not overwork themselves. The book contains several suggested walks around the University of Georgia campus, as well as areas for the reader to create and document their own personal walks.

A process book compiling all work and projects completed for my Design Drawing class. My first foray into the world of book design, so while flawed in many ways, it has a soft spot in my heart.
